We say that Nepal has more festivals than there are days in the year. Especially in the Newari community of Bhaktapur, we find every possible reason to have dining events with our family and friends. Some events involve cooking and sharing delicacies with family and friends, while others are more intimate, reserved for close family.

We offer our guests a chance to immerse themselves in local culture through a unique culinary journey with a local family. The family dinner table will be set with an array of local dishes, which guests will help cook and enjoy, all while engaging in the sharing of culture and stories. As a morning prelude, guests will join the housewife in shopping at the local market, understanding the local traditions and the processing of ingredients. We believe that understanding a society through its cuisine is one of the most authentic ways to connect with its culture.
